Tim Bresnan and Graham Onions will again be pushing for Steven Finn’s place in England’s bowling attack after the selectors named an unchanged 13-man squad for the second Investec Test at Lord’s.As it was before the opening Test at Trent Bridge the one area of debate is the third fast bowler behind James Anderson and Stuart Broad although the selectors have resisted going outside their original group.Finn had a poor Test, taking match figures of 2 for 117 in 25 overs; the economy rate a particular concern on a surface where scoring became increasingly difficult as the match progressed.It was a tight call between him and Bresnan in the first place before the selectors opted to retain faith in Finn who had been in the side throughout the five Tests against New Zealand. However, if Alastair Cook does not feel able to entrust Finn with a greater number of overs a change will be required so that the workload can be more evenly spread among England’s quicks with Bresnan the likeliest man to replace him.Anderson had a grueling five days at Trent Bridge, culminating in his marathon 13-over spell on the final day, and was forced to leave the field during Australia’s last-wicket stand. He returned to claim the matchwinning wicket after lunch and the official line was that Anderson only suffered cramp, but with just three days between games it will be a major test of his renowned fitness.There remain concerns, too, over Stuart Broad who struggled with his right shoulder during the first half of the Trent Bridge Test after taking a blow from James Pattinson while batting although his performances improved markedly as the match wore on.In hindsight, with the way the Trent Bridge surface developed, England may have preferred Bresnan’s skills to Finn. Not only can Bresnan bowl lengthy, tight spells but he is also another good exponent of reverse swing.Bresnan’s Test record at Lord’s is unflattering with five wickets at 66 in three appearances, while Finn has impressive numbers on his homeground – 29 wickets at 20.65 from five Tests. The final decision could yet come down to the surface; if the hot weather means another baked, cracked pitch there would be further weight behind a recall for Bresnan whereas if it appears like it may carry through with good pace, there could be a temptation to retain Finn.Onions remains the outside bet to come into the side although he does bowl very well to left handers. The initial expectation was that Graeme Swann would be the major threat to Australia’s left handers, but he was below his best at Trent Bridge and was played with relative ease by the likes of Ashton Agar and Pattinson.

In-form Michael Klinger then posted an assured 89 not out as Gloucestershire chased down a modest target with seven wickets and 9.4 overs in hand.Gloucestershire leapfrog Glamorgan and Middlesex and move into second place, level on points withSomerset but with a game in hand. They next play Middlesex at Lord’s on Thursday and Glamorgan in Bristol on Sunday, and victory in both games will set up a potential winner-takes-all showdown with Somerset on August 26.Leicestershire never recovered from the loss of early wickets as one batsman after another struggled with conditions. وبحسب صحيفة “ذا صن” البريطانية، يريد ميكيل أرتيتا المدير الفني لآرسنال، التعاقد مع أورلين تشواميني من ريال مدريد.

وانضم تشواميني في الصيف الماضي إلى ريال مدريد مقابل 85 مليون جنيه إسترليني من موناكو، مع اهتمام مانشستر يونايتد وليفربول بضمه في ذلك الوقت.

ويوضح التقرير أن مانشستر يونايتد عاود اهتمامه مجددًا بضم تشواميني مزاحمًا آرسنال على تلك الصفقة.

Australia coach Darren Lehmann has, in an extraordinary outburst against England allrounder Stuart Broad, underlined his anger over Broad’s decision to not walk at a crucial juncture of the first Test by calling for Australian crowds to get at Broad in the return Ashes series later this year.”Certainly our players haven’t forgotten, they’re calling him everything under the sun as they go past,” Lehmann said in an interview to the TripleM station. “I hope the Australian public are the same because that was just blatant cheating. I don’t advocate walking but when you hit it to first slip it’s pretty hard.”Lehmann’s comments come a day ahead of the final Test at the Oval, with Australia striving to avoid an unprecedented fourth Test defeat in a Ashes series. It might have turned out to be a closer contest had Broad walked after edging into the keeper’s leg, with the ball then carrying to slip, in a tightly fought first Test. Instead, he stood his ground and was involved in a match-changing 138-run stand with Ian Bell for the seventh wicket.”From my point of view I just hope the Australian public give it to him right from the word go for the whole summer and I hope he cries and he goes home,” Lehmann said. “I just hope everyone gets stuck into him because the way he’s carried on and the way he’s commented in public about it is ridiculous.”He knew he hit it to slip. A fase final do Campeonato Mato-Grossense começa neste final de semana. Dono da melhor campanha na primeira etapa da competição, o Cuiabá enfrenta o Dom Bosco, neste domingo, na partida de ida das quartas de final.

Com sete vitórias e dois empates, o Dourado somou 23 dos 29 pontos possíveis até o momento. Apesar da ótima campanha, o time da capital mato-grossense sabe que ainda tem muito campeonato pela frente.

– Temos que manter o que a gente vem fazendo desde o início do campeonato, respeitando todos os adversários, e focados em dar o nosso melhor sempre, não conquistamos nada ainda – disse Caio Dantas, artilheiro do estadual com sete gols.

Além da melhor campanha, o Cuiabá também conta com o melhor ataque e com a melhor defesa (empatado com o Operário) da competição . Contratados para a temporada de 2019, Caio Dantas e Júnior Todinho são responsáveis por 7 dos 17 gols no campeonato.

– A gente vem se dando bem tanto dentro de campo como fora, é uma pessoa que eu gosto de estar conversando, estamos sempre juntos, e isso ajuda na comunicação dentro de campo também – disse Caio.

Contra o Dom Bosco, Todinho espera que o time mantenha a mesma postura e atitude que teve durante o inicio do estadual.

– Nossa equipe cria muitas oportunidades e nós atacantes estamos sabendo aproveitar bem. Eu e Caio conversamos muito para podermos ir melhorando a cada dia. Serão dois jogos difíceis, hoje em dia não tem adversário bobo. Como fizemos em toda a competição, a gente está se preparando para fazer um grande jogo – revelou o jogador.

Cuiabá e Dom Bosco se enfrentam neste domingo, às 16h (horário de Brasília), na Arena Pantanal.

كشفت تقارير قطرية عن طلبات نادي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي المادية، من أجل التفريط في البرتغالي برناردو سيلفا لصالح الهلال السعودي.

وأكدت قنوات “الكأس” القطرية أن إدارة مانشستر سيتي طلبت مبلغ نحو 100 مليون دولار، للتنازل عن خدمات الدولي البرتغالي للهلال.
