وأوضح طبيب الأهلي أن اللاعب أجرى أشعات رنين مغناطيسي على الطرفين السفليين، ثم تم عرضه على خبير أجنبي متخصص في إصابات الملاعب وجراحات العظام، وخبير أجنبي آخر متخصص في العلاج الطبيعي وتأهيل الإصابات.

Tite só confirmará o time titular para a partida contra o Santos no treino deste sábado, no CT Joaquim Grava. O único jogador que ele garantiu como o titular é o meia Danilo, que pode atuar na armação de jogadas ou então como centroavante. Danilo ainda será o capitão do Corinthians neste compromisso fora de casa. Tirando o camisa 20, não há maiores informações sobre o time que entra em campo, já que só reservas treinaram nesta sexta-feira.

-Não vou confirmar mais nenhum jogador além do Danilo.E ele pode jogar nas duas funções, de 9 ou de meio-campista. E pode jogar de meia central ou de lado, também. Much like Wilfried Zaha before him, Eberechi Eze has been nothing short of a revelation for Crystal Palace since he first stepped foot inside Selhurst Park, especially in recent months.

When Steve Parish agreed to pay Queens Park Rangers £16m for his services in the summer, some Palace fans couldn’t quite believe their luck, none more so than journalist Taylor Rockwell, who told the Total Soccer Show that he is a “very exciting” talent.

As of right now, Roy Hodgson’s side find themselves in 13th place in the Premier League, level on points with Southampton and two behind Arsenal at the halfway point of the campaign.

This is thanks in no small part to the impact Eze has had at Selhurst Park, having made 21 top-flight appearances in the Premier League with three goals and three assists to show for his 16 starts.

Now, granted his numbers are still quite small in comparison to the goal-scoring exploits of Zaha, but it’s fair to say that he offers so much more than that.

Other than Zaha, Palace have long lacked a creative influence capable of single-handedly changing the game on his own arguably ever since Victor Moses departed SE25.

While some wingers will bide their time and wait for an opportunity, Eze is prepared to bring the ball forward, as evidenced by his two dribbles per 90 in the Premier League during his time with Palace this season thus far, that the best of all his teammates, as per WhoScored.

And it’s not just his dribbling that has caught the eye. His role as a set-piece specialist means he boasts a WhoScored strength of ‘taking set-pieces’ to go with his dribbling and passing ability. The 22-year-old memorably scored directly from a free-kick against Leeds United to mark his first goal for the club at Selhurst Park.

His playing style has earned its fair share of plaudits with recent praise coming from Liverpool and Tottenham defender Jamie Redknapp, who told Sky Sports (via The Daily Mail): “Eze has been so influential though I actually want to see more of him. (He’s) Very impressive he’s a star man. When he’s on the ball he’s so exciting to watch.”

Palace have clearly hit the jackpot as they’ve got another playmaker for at least the next couple of years, providing that they don’t receive an offer they can’t refuse in the meantime, of course.

Now valued at €30m (£26m) by CIES Football Observatory, there’s no doubting the fact the Eagles have struck gold with the England U21 international.

Manchester United have had a few days to recharge their batteries after drawing 1-1 with Premier League strugglers West Brom and desperately need to get back to winning ways at Real Sociedad later today.

The Red Devils travel to Turin to face the Basque side in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie tonight with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer searching for his side’s first win since the 1-0 win over West Ham in the FA Cup.

In Sociedad, they face a team who have won two of their past three fixtures, so Solskjaer will know his side will have to be at their very best if they are to return to Old Trafford with all three points and has some tricky calls to make.

Football FanCast has looked at the line-up United could name this evening, which sees Solskjaer make seven changes to the draw with West Brom.

Dean Henderson is likely to start for United against Real Sociedad after keeping a clean sheet in the FA Cup victory over West Ham with David de Gea dropping to the bench. Henderson has been restricted to just 11 appearances for the Red Devils this season, but he could be handed a rare start against the two-time La Liga champions on Thursday night.

Harry Maguire has started every single one of United’s 24 games in the Premier League this season and as such should be afforded a rest against Sociedad.

While Victor Lindelof is another option, it is Eric Bailly who is expected to get the nod alongside academy graduate Axel Tuanzebe. Alex Telles is the only other change for Luke Shaw at left-back.

Paul Pogba’s absence gives United little room to manoeuvre in the midfield and means Fred will have to shoulder the responsibility of injecting some extra tempo and tenacity to the midield. The Brazilian should once again be asked to play in the holding role with Nemanja Matic recalled to the starting XI to replace the injured Scott McTominay.

Bruno Fernandes, however, should be an easy pick, given he has comprehensively been United’s best player this season thus far, flanked by Marcus Rashford and Daniel James.

And Mason Greenwood, 19, could lead the line in the absence of Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial as Solskjaer turns to the youth. The Englishman replaced Martial in the second half against West Brom on Sunday and it is the Frenchman who he could replace in the starting line-up with Rashford returning to his preferred position on the left-hand side of the attack.

Farhad Moshiri must sanction Marcel Brands’ new contract after Carlo Ancelotti praised Everton’s Director of Football for his role in Abdoulaye Docuoure’s summer arrival.

In quotes shared by the Liverpool Echo, Ancelotti has thanked Brands for suggesting the Toffees made efforts to sign Doucoure from Watford ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The Italian tactician had sought to add an energetic presence in the engine room who could partner Allan, but saw efforts to sign Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg thrown out of the window after he made it clear he wished to leave Southampton for Tottenham Hotspur.

Brands presented Doucoure to Ancelotti as an alternative to Hojbjerg, having tried to sign the Frenchman for the past two years and he eventually sealed a £20m deal in September, following the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship.

Ancelotti has been amazed by Doucoure’s performances at Goodison Park since his arrival on a three-year contract, which is now noted to feature an option to extend by a further 12-months that either Everton can activate or is triggered by a set number of appearances.

“When we started to talk about the transfer window, Doucoure was on the list of the club,” Ancelotti said. “He was not on my list, but we talked together and we both agreed to sign him.

“I think it was, after six months, a really fantastic signing because Doucoure is playing really well. Doucoure is really good physically and he’s able to recover really fast, really quick.

“He doesn’t show problems with his physical condition. He has played a lot of games, but he is still really good, fresh, and has no problems at all.”

Get Brands signed up

Everton’s majority shareholder Moshiri should take note of Ancelotti’s praise for Brands’ role in Doucoure’s move to Goodison Park, as it shows the calibre of players that the Italian and Dutchman can sign when working together.

Doucoure has played more minutes in the Premier League this season (1,983) than any of other Toffees player, along with a joint team-high 41 successful tackles, second-most interceptions (29) and fourth-most key passes (18) at Goodison Park, per WhoScored.

Brands is expected to pen a new deal with his current £2m-a-season contract up at the end of May, but it has previously been speculated that Moshiri could wait until those terms expire before making a final decision on his continued role.

The 58-year-old has been a vitally important cog in the Toffees system since his arrival in the summer of 2018, with the former PSV Eindhoven figure in charge of Everton’s strategy across the first-team to the academy.

He also sits on the Blues board and Chief Executive Denise Barrett-Baxendale stated upon his promotion that Brands would work on delivering a long-term vision that has clearly worked wonders given the players signed in the past two years.

Ancelotti has previously commented on the “beautiful relationship” he shares with Brands and that Everton would only make signings if there was a total agreement between the pair, while also describing the Dutchman as an “important” part of the club.

So, Moshiri not giving his signature to a new contract could prove very detrimental to the long-term picture on Merseyside, and prevent Everton from signing players like Doucoure again in the future.
