كشف عماد متعب نائب رئيس لجنة رابطة الأندية المحترفة، عن ملعب مباراة الزمالك وإنبي في إطار الأسبوع الأول من منافسات الدوري المصري الممتاز.

ومن المقرر أن يلتقي الزمالك مع إنبي، يوم الثلاثاء المقبل، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى من عمر مسابقة الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وقال متعب خلال تصريحات عبر برنامج “جمهور التالتة” على قناة “أون تايم سبورت 2”: “الزمالك أرسل لنا ملعبين القاهرة والبديل الدفاع الجوي، الملعب الأول به إصلاحات ولذلك وضعنا المباراة في الملعب الثاني”.

وتابع: “لم يصل لنا أي خطاب رسمي يفيد بعدم امكانية لعب المباراة على الدفاع الجوي كما تردد”.

وأردف: “الإسماعيلي طلب أن تتقدم مباراة الأهلي يوم أو تتأخر يوم بسبب الانتخابات، ولكن ردنا بأن المسابقة ليس لها علاقة بالانتخابات”.

وتابع: “مباراة الأهلي أمام الإسماعيلي لا مشكلة في إقامتها في القاهرة ومصرح لها بذلك، لكن العكس غير مصرح به، ولذلك جعلنا المباراتين في ملعب برج العرب لنطبق العدالة”.

الأهلي يواجه الإسماعيلي، يوم الأربعاء المقبل، في إطار مواجهات الأسبوع الأول من عمر الدوري المصري اممتاز.

وواصل: “أعد الجماهير المصرية إن شاء الله أن هذا الموسم لن يحدث فيه أي تأجيلات ويكون به عدالة وتصوير جيد وحضور جماهيري”.

وأكمل: “لا توجد مشاكل حقيقية ظهرت أمام الرابطة حتى الآن، سنلتزم بملاعب كل فريق ولن يكون هناك استثناءات لأحد وأتمنى أن تساعدنا الأندية”.

وأتم: “الكرة الموحدة ستكون موجودة في الموسم الجديد، وأعتقد أن الأندية استلمتها من اتحاد الكرة”.

What’s the word?

According to Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils have reached an agreement with Atalanta for Amad Traore, although the teenager will arrive in January due to a complication with his work permit and passport.

The Ivory Coast international became the youngest player to score in his Serie A debut during Atalanta’s 7-1 win over Udinese, via ESPN.

Ed Woodward has handed out new deals left, right and centre to the likes of Brandon Williams and Dean Henderson while the club have finally found an adequate attacking midfielder for the first time since Paul Scholes left the club in January signing Bruno Fernandes.

They’ve even brought in Van de Beek to provide cover and competition for Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.

If you were Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, you would imagine he would be quite happy with the signings so far, but they still need to strengthen the right wing, which is a bit of a problem when the transfer window closes in such a short space of time.

While Traore, 18, has made all of the headlines in Italy after breaking through the ranks into the first team, he is still largely unproven at the top levels of the game.

Daniel James 2.0?

As far as Solskjaer is concerned, Jadon Sancho remains his number one target, although The Athletic’s David Ornstein recently reported a deal is off as it stands.

The young Ivorian, who was born in 2002, is obviously one to keep an eye on for the future, but he is still vastly inexperienced and cannot be expected to shoulder the responsibilities on the right wing.

In fact, United have been in this situation before. It wasn’t all that long ago that they signed Daniel James for an initial fee of £15m from Swansea City last summer, and we all know how well that worked out, as the Welshman only managed to score three goals and supply six assists in the Premier League, via WhoScored.

And Traore won’t come cheap either, with Romano revealing he is expected to cost €30m, which roughly equates to £27m at the time of writing.

With Traore set to link up with the squad next year, United need a right winger now, not in several months time, it really is that simple. The Red Devils have run out of options on the right wing as Andreas Pereira and Juan Mata are simply not up to the standards required.

Pereira, who fell out of favour with Solskjaer, has found himself shipped out on loan to Lazio.

And United need to sign a player who can dictate play and supply a steady stream of assists for the front three this season, someone who can hit the ground running, not someone who will only be available halfway through the season.

It will leave a sour taste in the mouth if Woodward is unable to sort out a deal with Dortmund for Sancho, a player whom the club have coveted for so long.

Watford have had a difficult start to life back in the Championship, with the Hornets winning two of their first four games, with a draw and loss in the other two. Derby themselves have had a tough start to their season also, with just one win and three losses from their opening four fixtures too.

Friday’s fixture between the pair looks to be hotly contested, with lots of in play betting opportunities to be had and the two sides not having played since 2015 which resulted in a 2-2 draw. Over recent history, however, Derby appears to have come out on top for most fixtures, with three wins and a draw in their last five fixtures against one another. This makes poor reading for Watford fans, but with a squad such as theirs, and Derby’s poor start to this season, the Hornets faithful will certainly be confident of a good result against the Rams.

Here, we’re going to take a look at the important factors of the upcoming game, and take a punt at some predicted XI’s for the match, so without further ado, let’s get into it…

Watford Predicted XI

Watford started their previous league game with a 3-5-2 formation against Reading but lost 1-0. I

think that Vladimir Ivić will opt for the same 5-3-2 formation that saw them beat rivals, Luton, after an impressive performance, as well as selecting the same starting XI, with that important front two of Joao Pedro and Ismaila Sarr.

Watford have been short for goals this season, scoring just 2 goals in their first four games – and will be hoping to change this come their game against the Rams.

Derby County Predicted XI

I can see Phillip Cocu opting for an unchanged XI from their first league win against Norwich thanks to an 87th-minute goal from Wayne Rooney. The club’s first four games have been tough, with their three opening defeats coming with a 4-2-3-1, scoring once and conceding 8 goals.

The Rams will be hoping to continue with winning ways, and an unchanged formation will likely be their best way forward – with their record against Watford in recent years a good one. The club will likely be reliant on the experience and quality of Rooney again, with him scoring the club’s first league goal of the season in the aforementioned game against Norwich during GW4.

Score Prediction: Derby 1-2 Watford

Given both sides starts to the season, I can’t see this being the most exciting game of the season, but it will be a highly contested one nonetheless. I see Derby taking the lead early on in the game, likely through Wayne Rooney – but Watford will make a comeback during the second half, with their front two likely to be the pair to break the deadlock for Ivić’s men.

Joao Pedro and Ismaila Sarr will be important for the Hornets this season if they hope to gain promotion back to the Premier League, and I can see the pair enjoying a good game against Cocu’s side, who themselves will be aiming for Premier League promotion this campaign despite their shaky start.

Player to watch out for – Watford, Christian Kabasele

The Northern Ireland international has been a revelation of himself so far this season and has been Watford’s best performer according to WhoScored in the Championship this campaign.

The 31-year-old scored the club’s opening goal of the season in their first league game against Middlesbrough and has been a commanding force in defence for the club so far. From their first four games, they have kept three clean sheets, with Cathcart at the heart of defence each time, with him averaging 3.8 aerial duels won per game and 3.8 clearances per game too.

Be sure to keep an eye on Cathcart, as he will likely be the one to inspire Watford to a win against Derby.

Player to watch out for – Derby, Wayne Rooney

The 34-year-old inspired Derby to their first victory of the season over Norwich and the club will likely be looking towards him this season during their push for promotion.

So far this campaign the Englishman has only scored the one goal and has averaged 2.3 shots per game, but his performances last season helped inspire the club all the way to the playoffs, and I expect the same again this campaign.

If anyone is to make an impact against Watford, it will be Rooney, but overall I can’t see the Rams coming out of this game with the three points.

وذكرت صحيفة “ديلي ميل” الإنجليزية أن بطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية ستمضي قدمًا في موعدها المحدد، على الرغم من أن بعض الأمور تحتاج إلى اهتمام عاجل قبل أشهر فقط من انطلاق المنافسات.

بحلول تلك المرحلة، سيغيب اللاعبون بالفعل عن ثماني مباريات، بما في ذلك ست مباريات في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز وجولتين في كأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي.

سيغيب لاعبو أرسنال الأفارقة بالتأكيد عن مواجهة مانشستر سيتي في يوم رأس السنة الجديدة ورحلة ديربي شمال لندن إلى توتنهام في 15 يناير، في حين أن أي لاعب سيشارك في المراحل الأخيرة من كأس الأمم قد يغيب عن مواجهة تشيلسي في 12 فبراير..

ومن المرجح أن يخسر تشيلسي حارسه السنغالي إدوارد ميندي كذلك، وسيتعين على مانشستر سيتي التأقلم بدون الجناح الجزائري رياض محرز.

قد يخسر واتفورد ما يصل إلى خمسة لاعبين في البطولة بما في ذلك المهاجمين الرئيسيين إسمايلا سار وإيمانويل دينيس، بينما من المقرر أن يخسر ليستر سيتي أربعة  لاعبين، مع مشاركة الثنائي النيجيري كيليتشي إيهيناتشو وويلفريد نديدي.

كذلك قد يكون كريستال بالاس أيضًا بدون ثلاثة لاعبين، حيث سينضم ويلفريد زاها وشيكو كوياتي إلى الثنائي الغاني جوردان أيو وجيفري شلوب في كأس الأمم الإفريفية، بينما يخسر أستون فيلا ثلاثة لاعبين وهم مارفيلوس ناكامبا وتريزيجيه وبرتراند تراوري.

مانشستر يونايتد مستعد فقط لخسارة الثنائي الإيفواري إيريك بيلي وأماد ديالو، بينما توتنهام ليس لديه أي لاعب أفريقي يمكن استدعاؤه للمسابقة.

Speaking to Football Insider, pundit Alex McLeish has made a claim regarding defender Eric Dier and his hamstring trouble – hinting that the fresh injury could be real cause for concern. 

Dier, who seems to be preferred at centre back by manager Jose Mourinho, consistently partnering either Toby Alderweireld or Davinson Sanchez, will miss Spurs’ clash against West Ham on Sunday.

He joins Giovani Lo Celso and Japhet Tanganga on the injury list as another blow emerges, potentially putting a slight dampener on what will be an interesting afternoon against the Hammers – especially with superstar signing Gareth Bale nearing his debut.

McLeish, shedding light on the Englishman’s hamstring trouble, has claimed that he could be facing up to a month on the sidelines if it is serious.

Going on to state that hamstrings are ‘very, very awkward’, the out-of-work manager claims that Dier is facing ‘at least’ a fortnight out of action.

“He seems to be an integral part of Jose’s plans as we’ve seen in this season’s opening games,” explained McLeish to Football Insider. 

“To get a hamstring nick, you would think that that would be looking at two weeks at least, possibly a month. Hamstrings are very, very awkward muscle strains and if Dier has, if it’s only a tweak they’ll assess that.

“I think when you’re talking about hamstrings, he’ll definitely miss the next game.”

Transfer Tavern take

Dier, who has attracted mixed reviews from critics and supporters in his makeshift defensive position, now faces a potentially worrying injury update.

Luckily, Tottenham managed to get a deal for Joe Rodon over the line during the last hour of deadline day, and that transfer now looks even more of a coup.

Ben Godfrey is happy that one of his old clubs in York City have benefitted from his transfer from Norwich City to Everton.

Speaking to The Press, the England under-21 international has claimed that the money received from a sell-on clause inserted by York when they sold him ‘couldn’t have come at a better time’ as he added that it is ‘massive’ for the club that he supported as a kid.

Indeed, with the outbreak of the global pandemic, teams like York City in the National League North may find it difficult to cope financially at the moment, but Godfrey hopes that the cash paid to them via the sell-on clause will help them out to a great degree.

Indeed, Everton were arguably right to pay the £24.75m transfer fee to the Canaries for Godfrey’s services.

Carlo Ancelotti will be hoping that the defender can provide some perhaps much-needed cover for the likes of Mason Holgate, Michael Keane and Yerry Mina in the heart of the defence at Goodison Park.
